Activities before the Short-term exchange students mobility in Spain, preparing presentation and performance

  • Distibution of the tasks between the partipating students and teachers

  • Regular meeting of all participants for coordinating the work and evaluvation activities

  • Chosen choral repertoire corresponding project – Czech music from choral to 21st century

  • Choir members, playing musical instruments, started prepare composition from Czech musical composers (from renaissance to 21st century)

  • Interaction with Music School in Jihlava – the consultation, the accompanist, preparing solo numbers

  • Took place two weekend concentrations of choir (November 2014, January 2015)

  • Choir worked intensively onto the voice technology (cooperation with voice consultant M. Kelíšková)

  • Preview of folklore Horácko – the consultation with Lenka Boudná, member of ensemble Pramínek (dancer, singer, organizer, trainer)

  • Meeting to choreography (L. Boudná, Míla Brtník - leader of ensemble Pramínek)

  • Choise dance and choreography – Zbyšek Voda (student of Gymnázium Jihlava, choir member)

  • Task of preparing of musical accompaniment – music ensemble Pramínek (former members of choir and students of Gymnázium Jihlava) – result: 4 recording dances in two versions (CD + flash disk)

  • Choise of candidates for training Horácko dances, practise – L. Boudná, Z. Voda

  • Rent Horácko costumes (from ensamble Pramínek: L. Boudná, D. Němečková)

  • Establish cooperation with the organizers of the festival Mahler Jihlava Music of thousand and renting six exibition panels, which depict the life of Mahler in Jihlava

  • Translation texts on the panels to English and handover English version to partner school

  • Determination of students which will comment panels in English or Spanish with students from the partner school

  • Preparing panels for transport to Spain

  • Preparing presentation about Gustav Mahler in English and Spanish

  • Create posters to the concerts and presentations, handover partner school to print

  • Writing a program of concerts, translation song titles to Spanish

  • Preparing interpretation of polka in Spanish and English, practise song Škoda lásky, preparing songs to learning polka in Spain

  • Ensuring musical instruments for transport to Spain (viola, violin and clarinet, violoncello – transported to Spain by the student from long-term student mobility)

  • Adressing the Regional Office Vysočina, City hall Jihlava, Gustav Mahler House and TIC Jihlava – obtaining promotional items and mainly print materials about Gustav Mahler and Jihlava in English, Spanish and French

  • Establish communication with Spanish students and host families

  • Familiarity with Spanish customs and the basics of the Spanish language
