Trip to the Czech Republic and visit to Vienna

On March the 5th, after having waited anxiously for so long, we got ready to travel to the Czech Republic.

Logically, we should have travelled to Prague, capital city of the Czech Republic, but we couldn’t get 26 plane tickets for a direct flight, so we had to look for an alternative to Vienna (Austria). Vienna is a bit further, but so, we would be able to visit this beautiful city of central Europe.

So we left Lerma at 04:30 am, because the plane to Vienna left at 08:45 am. Too early and early rising, but there was a big advantage, as we arrived to Vienna at noon and we had time to have a walk around the city.

The flight was very pleasant, and many of us had never flown before, so it was exciting. When we arrived, two teachers and three Czech students were waiting for us, and a coach that took us to Vienna. The visit was short (around 5 hours), but it was worth it, as Vienna is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. We saw the Parliament, the Cathedral, Francis Joseph I Palace, we had a walk through the streets,…

And then, we took the coach to go to Jihlava. Nearly three hours of trip which joined a tiring day, but full of emotions, because the best was waiting for us: meeting again our old Czech mates and meeting our hosting families.

A nice start for this experience.
