Residence for the elderly and farewell party

After the nervousness of the great performance the previous day, we had a more touching visit.

It was a small performance in front of elderly people in one of Jihlava’s asylums.

They always looked very pleased and thankful for an activity that was not common for them. Some of them could hardly clap their hands, but we could feel their illusion through their look.

We played half the repertoire of the day before. We were told to do that because that audience could not probably stand a full performance. So, we made a selection and we played one piece of every type we had prepared.

A very moving day.

But it was time to say goodbye. On the 15th, in the evening, we all met in Gymnázium: Spanish students and teachers, Czech students, families and teachers.

First of all, we showed our Project to the Czech parents.

We made a summary and an evaluation of all the activities we had carried out.

We were all given certificates of our participation in the project.

We took many pictures, everyone with his own hosting family and many others all mixed together. Algunos alumnos españoles nos obsequiaron con malabares de fuego.

We ate and drank typical Czech products ellaborated by the hosting families.

Summing up, that was the culmination of an unforgettable experience.
