Program of Activities

8:30 am, czech students will go to school with the spanish students. Those, who will stay outside Lerma, will take a school bus.
8:30 am, the director of IES Lerma Mercedes Viejo will welcome the czech students. A brief tour around the school will be the following event.
9:15 am, departure from IES to the concert hall La Piedad where the first rehearsal of the czech choir will take place before the main performance on the 4th March. We will rehears until 12:15. The students will then go back to school.
12:35-2:20 pm the students will participate on a music lesson with a music teacher Elena Caramanzana.
2:20 pm, lunch.
3:45 pm the bus to Quintanilla del Agua will depart from school.
4:00 pm a tour around skanzen Museo Yáňez in Quintanilla del Agua.
5:00 pm rehearsal in one of the „outdoor theatres“ in the skanzen.
5:30 pm public performance.
6:30 pm return to Lerma.
6:45 pm arrival to Lerma and return to the host families.

8:30 am meeting in front of the school.
8:30 am departure (by bus) to Castrillo Mota de Judíos, the birth place of Antonio de Cabezón.
9:15 am a visit of the house of Antonio de Cabezón.
9:30 am departure to the town called Torquemada.
10:30 am an excursion in an organ manufactory Acitores in Torquemada.
11:30 am duparture to Palencia.
1:00 pm a visit of a Music conservatory of Palencia. A little recital and introduction of the work of Antonie de Cabezón.
3:00 pm departure to Burgos.
4:30 pm a tour of the cathedral in Burgos.
6:00 pm some time in a shopping mall (Alcampo).
9:00 pm return to Lerma.
9:45 pm arrival to Lerma and return to the host families.

8:30 am meeting at school. Project meeting - commentary to planned activities.
9:00 am leaving to the townhall.
9:30 am a wellcome by the mayor of Lerma.
10:15 am excursion in Lerma with a guide. The church Colegiata de San Pedro, singing a few spiritual songs; visit of a market at the main square in Lerma.
12:30 am a rehearsal of the choir in the music school of Lerma.
1:30 pm a presentation of a few traditional czech songs in a bower at Plaza del Marcedo Viejo (depends on weather).
2:20 pm lunch.
5:00 pm final rehearsal in La Piedad in Lerma.
7:30 pm concert for public in a concert hall La Piedad.
9:30 pm the end of concert and return to the host families.

8:30 am meeting in front of the school in Lerma. Preparations for a presentation about Gustav Mahler in a school library.
10:00 am presentation for students of 3° and 4° ESO; a little concert at the stairs near the entrance.
11:40 am presentation fot students of 1°and 2° Bachillerato; a little concert at the stairs near the entrance.

2:20 pm lunch.
3:30 leaving to Covarrubias.
4:00 pm guided tour in the town; visit the Music school of Covarrubias.
5:00 pm excursion in the church in Covarrubias.
6:00 pm departure of the bus to Lerma; those who are staying in host families in Covarrubias will stay.
6:35 pm arrival to school and return to host families.

8:30 am arrival to school with spanish students. Project meeting - commentary to planned activities.
9:00 am departure to a village called Villalmanzo to a retirement home; preparations for a concert.
10:30 am concert for pensioners.
12:30 am a snack in the retirement home.
1:30 pm return to Lerma.
2:20 pm lunch.
5:00 pm meeting in school in Lerma. Preparations of a presentation about Gustav Mahler for parents of spanish students.
5:30 pm presentation for parents.
7:00 pm free time.
8:00 pm participation on a rehearsal of Music association of Lerma; presentation of a few songs in the Music school.
9:15 pm return back home to the host families.

8:00 am meeting in front of the school; leaving with the bus to Madrid; a tour of Madrid
7:30 pm return to Lerma by bus
10:00 pm return to host families

11:00 leaving from school to village Santo Domingo de Silos. Students staying in Covarrubias will be picked up there.
12:00 am-1:00 pm guided visit of the monastery in Silos.
1:45 pm Gregorian chant, Sext (Midday Prayer).

2:15 pm leaving to Burgos.
3:15 pm lunch in Burgos.
5:00 pm visit of the monastery la Cartuja de Miraflores.
6:15 pm departure to Lerma.
7:30 pm a farewell party in the school. Each family will prepare small refreshment in form of tortillas, desserts etc. The school will provide us with beverages. Czech students will show and then teach polka to everyone. Final goodbye.

8:30 am meeting in front of the school, farewell to spanish students and teachers.
9:00 am departure of the bus to the airport Madrid-Barajas.
