Retirement Home in Villalmanzo

On Friday (the seventh day of stay) morning we went to the village Villalmanzo. Here we had planned a concert at a local retirement home. The house is build behind the village in a very pleasant countryside. In a bus we started with a voice preparation and we continued with it after our arrival to the house. After voice training we began to put on our concert clothes. At half past ten we were ready to start singing. The concert took place in the lunchroom in which came to listen us about fifty people from the retirement home. For this performance we prepared especially fast popular and folk songs, but sounded also spiritual songs, and some members of the choir played the famous instrumental music. For our viewers were especially interesting dances of region Horácko. These dances were danced by members of our choir in the traditional folk costumes.

The concert was two hours long and I have to say that old people are very grateful and kind listeners. The time that we spent in this house was really nice and definitely unforgettable.
